The sales people were pretty knowledgeable, and my salesman always came to the phone to answer questions for me between the time I ordered and when the appliances were delivered. As a contractor who recommends Appliances to our clients, we have had great success with Earl Feiden's Kingston store. We make sure the client tells the sales person that they are a referral from our company and we give the customer questions to ask so the expectations are set properly as to who will do the install, etc.
We have also been happy with the service department response - both at our client's houses as well as our own. Service is a big part of why we recommend people give them a try.
Stores can have bad days and people can be less than spectacular on any given day. For the past six years we have had no complaints.

"I'd much prefer to buy from a family than a big box chain."

We went in there in spite of the poor reviews just to see what they had. We had no problem with them. We were greeted immediately, the sales guy was courteous and attentive. They must have been watching the grandkids that day because they were watching TV and there were a couple of pizza boxes there. I'd much prefer to buy from a family than a big box chain. They have the same stuff as Home Depot or Lowes or even Amazon. A little more expensive but I'd rather support the economy in my local area than who knows where.

I have had a great experience with their service and their sales. No issues. I was so resistant to buying an extended warranty after a few problems elsewhere, but I am so glad I did after our high end dryer blew a heater and circuit board. 500 worth of repairs no charge....paid for it and still 4 more years to go on the warranty I am very likely to buy there again in the future.

"I could not be more pleased with the results."

Over the past two years (2011 - 2013) we replaced every major appliance in our kitchen with Frigidaire Professional models for the dishwasher, refrigerator, electric range, and microwave, and purchased all products from the Clifton Park location of Earl B Feiden. I could not be more pleased with the results. I am always willing to do my homework and get the best price and Earl B Fieden gave us the lowest price on all four appliances in comparison to both other local retailers as well as the big box stores.

Two weeks ago we upgraded our range and over the range microwave to match the dishwasher and refrigerator we had purchased previously. I felt the delivery and installation service was excellent and professional. Upon using the range for the first time, I noticed that the skillet I had used left significant scratch marks across the glass top surface. I placed a call to the service department in Latham the next day and they scheduled a tech to come out within 48 hours to look it over. The tech (James) was very professional and although he felt the damage was done from the skillet I had used, he agreed to replace the entire glass cook top at no cost. James ordered the part while onsite and was back the install the new cook top less than 2 weeks after his initial visit and had the new top operating in less than 30 minutes.

In reading some of the other reviews, I was surprised to read some "negative" remarks. My experience could not be more opposite. I would highly recommend Earl B Feiden for both price and service.

I never give 5 star rating to anyone. I am a very demanding customer . My wife and I treat the customers in our business like a king so we expect the same.

We had a great experience with Earl. B Feiden. The sales person was very helpful. When I had an issue they went above and beyond to resolve it to our complete satisfaction. usually you see true colors of the company when you have an issue. Earl.B Faiden is definitely showed that they are really committed for good customer service. That is the reason I am giving 5 stars. I would suggest this place for anyone.

I called the Feiden Appliance store in Latham for service on my existing refrigerator, dishwasher and and range hood motor. I was a little concerned reading some of the other reviews, but they carried the brands that I needed serviced, so I tried them anyway. WOW! Their service tech, Louis, is fantastic! He was extremely competent, resourceful and courteous. Yes, it took a while for them to fit me into their schedule, but it was worth the wait. He fixed everything and we are very pleased.

In the past 7 months we purchased a suite of kitchen aid appliances and our experiences with all of the staff has been excellent and in particular, Guy Jordan, was knowledgable and helpful. Shawn, a service technician, was incredibly helpful with questions I had adjusting to a gas cook top and then working with Jason on our double wall oven that had an issued which was resolved.

This place is the real deal. Not only were they helpful and not too pushy, they actually listened to me which is something ive found most sales people forget to!

I was shocked to see the other review on here. That was the polar opposite of my experience. Im not sure if they have just stepped up their service recently or what but i couldnt imagine a better experience. I would recommend them to anyone, and I plan to.
