We bought new and This freezer gave us nothings but issues for over the first 2 years. They repaired it 2 times and finally the 3rd time it stopped cooling they deemed it not repairable. This is where the fun began, the people they sent out to remove it- it is a built in freezer next to a very large built in fridge were clueless and I don™™t use that lightly. The 2 guys literally walked in and said they had never seen one like that. Well 2 guys was not enough, so we rescheduled. They next try, they sent 4 guys, this time they said my cabinets had sunken the the 2 years and I needed to have them removed so they could get them out. They left again. I started to deal with the customer rep I was assigned at monogram. Showing that nothing in had changed and that they space the freezer was in met the guidelines for installation specifications they list on the paperwork. They company would not come back unless I signed a waiver that they could damage- which I would not do. The reviews for this company were horrible. The rep offered my $200 to have a 3rd party come out- I laughed $200! It was $1200 to have the fridge/dreezer insatlled. After almost a month they agreed to let me Get an estimate From the people who originally installed the freezer . That quote was for $800. They agreed to pay the 800 after I had it installed and provided the receipt. The original company came out and installed it with no problems really quick And I realized the original company they sent out had never lowered the feet at the bottom of the freezer which is ridiculous because they were provided by them and they didn't even know how to uninstall their own freezer. Team monogram to pay me back and so far it's been almost 6 months and I haven't had a problem with my new freezer However I will say the handles scratch really easily.Overall I will never buy GE monogram again Mostly because I've moved my stuff for my freezer probably about six times and all the trips for repairs. Although I will say the repair guys Bodwell are great. I should not know everything about their families and their kids because they've been here to my house so many times in such a short time.

This is my second exact freezer as the first one Had a leak that was unrepairable, but it took them two years to diagnose. The absolute incompetence of the company they hired to uninstall. It took another six months after I finally hired the company that installed it originally Which they were able to do with no problem. I am hopeful this will be a good freezer yet on the same hand. I™™m so nervous. On the plus side, I did get to know my repair man very well from GE and they are amazing. If I had to purchase another monogram built-in refrigerator freezer at this point, I probably would not, But only time will tell. I was lucky that everything was covered under warranty, but I™™m not gonna lie. It was an absolute nightmare, getting them to do the right thing and pay for the uninstall by somebody who knew what they were doing. And when I say knew what they were doing the first company didn™™t actually take the vents off the front bottom to lower it, which is why they couldn™™t remove it from the built-in area. They wanted me to sign a waiver, allowing them to have ability to damage my home or for me to remove the top cabinets for them to get it out. The company that I hired that originally put it in had it out in 15 minutes because they knew what they were doing. I think it™™s unfortunate that GE contracts with this giant company who the first time they came said they had never seen a fridge this big and they hoped they could figure out how to get it out. That was an actual quote. It did not make me feel good inside.

Horrible experience the ice maker was broken from day one have had 11 months of service only to replace the entire freezer and the new one doesn™™t work either. Bad product do not buy.

I'm not sure how this product would last. I have issues connecting it to the app, not as easy as the other monogram products I purchased. The doors are heavy too which makes jars in them shake and have to be placed somewhere else. Also the bottom of the freezer gets really hot as you stand in front of it.
