We bought this to match the rest of our LG appliances. It was easy to install and is packed with useful features. The only reason I knocked off a star is the bottom bulb that lights the range is a horrible halogen bulb that produced so much heat we thought it would be a fire hazard. We had to spend additional money to replace it with a LED bulb.

Our old microwave stopped working so we were in need of a new one fast. Only requirements it needed to have was 1 must be installed over the range and 2 greater than 1000 watts. This microwave covered both the price was reasonable and it was available for immediate pickup. We been using this oven for a little more than a month and are happy with it for the most part. The features popcorn reheat melt etc work better than our old unit and it runs much quieter. Also the door opens quietly and I dont feel like I am slamming it when closing. The only drawback to this model is it is difficult for my wife to see inside when cooking. She and my daughter are 4 ft 11 inches tall. With the door closed although the button panel is easily reachable it covers the bottom portion of the door making it hard for them to see inside the microwave while cooking. They have to use a step stool. This is not a major concern but information some people may want to consider. We plan to buy a new microwave and move it to a more reasonable location for the height impaired once we remodel the kitchen. So they will make due until then

We bought this for a kitchen remodel for our home in November 2022. It is a decent microwave. However the box had the wrong specs on it which our cabinet contractor relied on to build our cabinets. It was totally incorrect and the unit was actually 2 inches shorter than the specs listed on the box. So when this was installed there was a 2 in gap on the side of the cabinets and the wall where the microwave should have aligned. The bottom of the microwave should be flush with the bottom of the top cabinets. This is on LG not the retailer. We had to pay extra to put a filler wood at the top and lower the microwave so it aligns with the cabinets. Otherwise the microwave is decent. Also once installed the microwave is not even slightly off angle. It cost us extra to remove the microwave have it re-installed only to learn that it was the unit that is off. I docked a star wish I could dock another half star for this. In addition this style due to location of buttons and where you open the door leaves a lot of fingerprints and smudges. Not the cleanest looking model.

Purchased and install Nov 9 2022. stopped heating May 5 2023. I contact LG regarding Warranty repair/replacement. it took them 7 days to send a repair technician. the repair tech showed with no parts and no replacement. The tech stated it was defective and I should request a replacement. I contact LG again and requested the replacement. it has now been 2 weeks with a non functional Microwave that is still under Warranty.

I really like our new microwave. It has a very clean look. The musical chime for when its done is a nice change. The only thing I dislike is that you can not see through the window well...to know if something is going to bubble over- but that is rare.

We bought this model of Microwave because we already had an LG Refrigerator and Oven and we really liked the fact that they have access to the internet for future updates or for troubleshooting a problem. We really like the defrost feature because it seems like the items we want to thaw out are not getting to hot or not hot enough and items thaw out much more evenly.
The only thing I would like to have is backlit buttons so you can see them in the dark without turning the lights on.
Otherwise its been a real time saver and easy to use.

Love the look of our microwave no handle and its features. Have it only a month but guests have all noticed it and commented on its physical appearance. Nice clean lines. Of course it works great and delivery and install team were great. It fit perfectly in its allotted space.

Installed three weeks ago unable to use I paid for installation the unit was installed incorrectly the unit needs the vent motor reversed for room venting it was not so it has been unusable waiting to find out when they are showing up to correct this I paid for the install to be hassle free unfortunately that has not been the case.

Replacement parts either dont exist or are more expensive than entire unit itself. Unit was delivered with a latent defect and despite the fact that I am willing to pay to replace the part that I didnt notice until 6 weeks after purchase I am in a position where it will be cheaper to buy a whole new unit rather than making a small repair. Ill donate the unit and buy a quality brand that stands behind their product.

We purchased this appliance and recently had it installed. We are very happy with the interior size of the microwave along with the auto cook and scan to cook functions. This microwave also syncs with our range so the exhaust fan automatically starts when the range is turned on. This microwave is easy to us and looks great. Thank you LG

The controls are a dim print on a dark surface and very difficult to see unless the room light is bright. The view window is tiny and narrow making monitoring food difficult. You cannot see items like a sandwich unless you are tall and the interior LED is not bright enough to offset the tiny dark glass window. The narrow lower mounting bracket light gauge bent while installing and the AC cord is in a weird position. The top screws were in non-standard places installation was a hassle. If someone steals it theyd be doing me a favor. The exhaust fan is perfect and the bottom lighting is OK. However with the brightest setting for the bottom light the interior floor of the oven is noticeably hot from the lamp. This is a model to avoid.

The good: high power sleek design.
The not so good: door tinted too dark to see whats going on inside. Interior light not bright enough. Door so long have to duck head when opening. Door sound when closing sounds cheep-not solid.

I would have given this recirculating above range microwave 5 stars but I did not because the fan is quite loud regardless of the speed you are running it at. It doesnt bother me to the point of returning it and I love all the features and the size. So 4 stars from me today :

We bought this model after checking out a LOT of units and this model has a bunch of features Cooks Very Quickly and connects to Wifi for updates or Maintenance issues. A very helpful feature. One touch cooking 4 speed exhaust fan that works GREAT A helpful feature if you are concerned with gas cooking combustion gas removal.
