We bought this about a month ago to replace our 20-year-old dishwasher. Seems to work well with cleaning both levels of dishes but we are having trouble getting the dishes to dry correctly. Trying to follow the instructions but wondering if it works correctly.

The dishwasher is junk. After only one year 2 months out of warranty the display board failed. I can buy a new dishwasher cheaper than getting the LG fixed. Dont waste your money. Buy anything else but not LG.

Very happy with this purchase. Took some time to install but I was able to do it by myself. Originally was going to purchase this through Lowes but it was actually a better deal to order directly from LG. Delivery was easy. Very happy with this particular model. It is super quiet. I would advise filling up with the rinse agent and keeping it full. This wasnt something I did on my prior old model but it really does seem to make a difference. When installing it and using it please just take the time and read the manual. Itll make things so much easier on you.

LG24 Front Control Built-in dishwasher 48dba. Model#LDFN4542S serial #403KWYP1A642 / I bought this 5/13/24 but didnt use for approx 1-2 months as my husband had emergency open heart surgery 2 strokes in hosp 4-6 wks. Now in Rehab 30 miles 1 way from home for 3-4 months. Item is brand new only used dishwasher 3 times since. PROBLEM -entire wash cycle extremely loud paperwork states LoDecibel QUIET OPERATION. My German Shepherd wont stay in the house while running. It makes grinding noise too loud to is heard throughout the house until finished approx 2 hours PLEASE help me to get this item out of my home. I am fully aware of your rules being beyond the warranty. Due to my extenuating circumstances with surgeries etc I am asking for exception and consideration for review. I have videoed washing cycle can forward. LG Rep gave me 3 service contractors in my area. But none of them will service LG appliances any longer. Im stuck. This dishwasher is brand new as I wash my dishes by hand. I do not want this item and ask to be contacted to discuss.

So far the Dishwasher seems to be a very good value. It was very well made by all indicators so far. The controls are also quite intuitive. The only down side is the door makes a loud snaping sound when closed. It seems to be a function of the latch deisgn. A damping feature on the door latch would solve this issue.

We bought this LG dishwasher because of the stainless steel tub and one-year warranty. After just 7 months of use the electric panel went crazy and the machine kept clicking all day and all night. It took 2 1/2 months to get a repair. We are hoping the issue was a fluke and wont have future problems.

We loved this dishwasher which was purchased Sept 19 2023. The non-plastic drum was our deciding factor. A month ago the LCD panel started going crazy and the machine intermittently will not function at all but continues to click for hours at a time. We expected more than 10 months out of this. We bought the extended warranty and have been waiting for LG to fix the machine now for over a month.

This review is concerning the delivery and installation. When it was delivered the guy said that he was not going to install it. So we called about the installation and was told that we should keep our eyes open and that they could not provide us a date when the installation would happen even though we had paid for it. A week later we got notification that the installation would take place but this was only after calling RXO? and LG a few times about when the install might occur. When the guy came to install he informed us it would be an additional $225 to install an outlet since the previous unit was hard wired for electricity.

I hate this dishwasher its terrible
You must hold the door while opening it otherwise it just drops to the ground. Theres no button to open it you just pull to open which seems cheap.
I get the bE code on nearly every other was and must restart the dishwasher from the beginning if I want my dishes dried properly. THIS IS RIDICULOUSLY INEFFICIENT. I use standard dishwasher detergent and there are no bubbles.
The turbo mode sucks
There is no rinse mode which is unfortunate since you get the bE code after more than an hour of washing so Id just like to rinse and dry the dishes.
Terrible condensation in the dishwasher if you dont use drying.
Its tiny inside.
Doesnt clean my dishes as well as my old dishwasher.
Its not quiet.
This machine is garbage.

I bought this dishwasher a month ago and I really like some of the features including that it has a fast turbo wash thats very effective and takes only one hour. My only complaint is that the lower rack is hard to roll out and I had to replace of the wheels as well as spray PAM vegetables oil in the bottom wheels and track to get get things to move smoothly. I found these Directions buried on a customer support website. I called the factory and Described the problem to them and first they claimed the dishwasher was not installed correctly and then they said that I needed a new bottom rack with wheels However they refuse to replace those within the warranty and I would have to pay Considering I only had the dishwasher for a week when this happened and wheels had already fallen off twice. I thought it was absurd that they would give me the number for a parts company and I would have to PAY the cost to buy the new parts. They basically denied any responsibility for the problem I brought new wheels on Amazon put them on and coated everything with Pam. It worked fine for a week and then I had to release the process. Overall it is an awesome dishwasher but this is la design engineering problem they need to resolve. When I looked at the floor model at Lowes it had the exact same issue with the bottom rack not always moving smoothly Customer Service didnt want to address that

First time I ran dishwasher I set it on Auto and got error message 6E. Troubleshooting didnt help. Has run fine on Normal since. What does this mean?
Loading instructions assume all plates on bottom rack. Need more info about loading bowls pans etc. I dont wash that many plates

I replaced a dishwasher that wasnt working well but I have come to wish I repaired it instead of scrapped it. These are my issues: the top shelf comes off its track easily and is then hard to get back on track condensation sometimes forms on the top of the door sometimes enough to form a puddle on my wood floor 2 of the rows on the top shelf are so narrow that half of my glasses dont fit and the middle section of the bottom shelf is sometimes not very useful because of the lack of supports.

I ordered a dishwasher about 3 weeks ago and have not received it yet. Deliver has been rescheduled twice already and in the meantime I have no dishwasher. If I would have known it would have taken this long I would have bought it from another store.

I kept seeing complaints about noise and poor drying but I honestly havent had either problem. You can hear it hiss as it first fills after that you might forget that its on. I think its very good for the price.
