Since the day we received our new stovetop, we called GE service you cannot touch the knobs on the stove top. It actually burns your fingers. Still waiting for replacement to show up. It™™s been weeks now.

Pretty good cooktop. Easy to clean but leaves streaks because of the color. I love that the knobs are on the top. Racks are nice and high away from burners.

I absolutely love this 5 burner gas cooktop. I like how it sits high over the burners and gives my kitchen an updated and modern look. So far it's easy to clean and user friendly. The grates seem very sturdy and well-fitting. Having the 5th burner is great too especally for usage with large pots. I am pleased and recommed this purchase.

The cook top was easy to install, it is stylish and has deep wells so if a pot boils over it will not run all over the counter, we chose black over the stainless look. Nothing cooks like gas!

I Love the design and the five burners. It looks good in my kitchen but the only downside of it is the knobes get way too hot and I'm afraid they will eventually melt. So I will give it time to see how long the knobes will last. I will update the review later. Overall I do Love my range top!!

Appreciate the ability to slide pots and pans across the grates to any burner without having to pick them up and the ease of regulating flame height. It is a good looking cooktop and easy to install.

Very nice range for the price. Not terribly happy with the control knobs not being well centered on their openings. One is well centered. Other four are 1/8 to 1/4™ off center.

Overall a good product, value for money.
Just a couple of suggestions:
1. The plastic stove knobs get heated very soon and should be changed to steel.
2. Slightly raised sections around each gas burner will help cleaning in case of any spills.

I was very disappointed that I paid to have an installation that never occurred because my Cabinetry needs to be altered a very small amount and the guys did not have the tools or the know-how to do it I had to seek my installation elsewhere even though I paid to have it done

Love this gas range top! Love the 5th burner and the overall look of it. My handles did burn very quickly and only after a few uses so I wish those were of sturdier quality. The placement of them is very close to the grates so it™™s very easy for the pan to touch them and burn. A few of them burned in the first week after the range was replaced.

I like everything about this cooktop except for the small rubber bumpers meant to cushion the grates. Put the rubber bumpers on the grates and it would cleaning the cooktop.

Well-designed surface and controls. Lights immediately. The grates form a single cooking surface--a big advantage. The central large burner boils a quart of room-temp water in 5 minutes. We bought an optional cast-iron griddle from GE for $100. Works very well. It allows griddle-style cooking, such as several breakfast items all at once, or burgers, bacon, and toasted buns. Easy to clean, especially it you buy an additional cover for the surface around the burners. These are custom-cut and available online for $30--100. This cooktop is a good value for $750. We upgraded from a 1996 cooktop, so we are easier to please than some people, but we're very happy.

The cooktop is ordered through Lowe™™s. The delivery of the item was excellent with good packaging. Although, the item was delivered 3 weeks late after the estimated delivery date (GE back ordered).
The cooktop was installed by a professional and it was straight forward. The packaging includes 3/4™ connectors except the gas line tube (~$40 ordered through Lowe™™s separate). We were replacing a GE electric cooktop with gas and since the dimension were the same 30™ we thought the replacement would be straight swap. Unfortunately, the gas cooktop depth cutout is slightlylarger than electric(overlook form our part) so it calls for chipping away the tile countertop and shave the cabinet. Once installed, all the burners worked well.
Now, the grates are sitting way high (1.25™) from the burner. When we ordered this cooktop, one thing we were concerned with another brand (LG) was how high the grates sit. And this GE had a better hight that we saw on display at Lowe™™s. So, we were a little surprised that we received this item with high sitting grate cooktop.
The control knobs looks good. We saw comments that they are made of plastic and melt after a while. We haven™™t had those issues yet. This is relatively new installation (1 month old).
So far we are enjoining this product. We may have to go to the market to get lower sitting grates, if we run into issues like longer cook time or pot burn.

I love the look of the cook too and it performs flawlessly my only problem are the rubber bumpers for grates aren™™t secure and the grids and gas caps stain easy and are difficult to keep clean

Works well when you have multiple pots on the cooktop and they don™™t overlap into each other. The cooktop is easy to clean and the grates can be put in the dishwasher and cleaned if they get greasy or dirty.
