It™™s a great dehumidifier the large tank is wonderful for the houston humidity we get. The system is easy to understand and strait forward to operate. I would say both the fan and compressor are a little loud for a living room (maybe okay for a bedroom if you use a fan)

Bought this appliance with the auto-pump feature a couple months ago. Easy to setup. No issues so far. Appreciate you can let the unit run while you™™re away, and you don™™t have to periodically empty the bucket. This unit pulls a good deal of moisture from the basement (which is where I have it). The fan noise is tolerable. Depending on fan speed; we have it set to low and it™™s certainly not super quiet but then again it™™s a dehumidifier and you expect some fan noise. You can set your humidity level but I wouldn™™t rely on the digital sensor. I bought a separate thermometer/humidier for a more accurate reading. The Frigidaire unit is off by about 5% with the humidity reading. All in all, pleased with this purchase but have only had a couple months, Will see how it works through the winter season then into summer,

I will start by saying that most of these reviews are marked as Incentivized Reviews. That should be your first RED FLAG.If I could give 0 stars for my purchase, I would.Last year we purchased this unit and it seemed to work, until just under one year from purchase, it showed an EC error code. They sent a replacement because I was within the one year limited warranty. The replacement worked for less than a month before having the same EC error code. I used the chat function on their website to get a replacement for the replacement. Well, what they don't tell you is that the warranty of the replacement is based on the ORIGINAL date of purchase from the ORIGINAL unit. This was only explained to me in the chat feature with a CS agent. I have twice now to asked for that information in writing, and all I get are templated responses and "my hands are tied". If you search on Reddit you can find many angry customers who went through the same exact issue. So even if they do one day agree to send me a third replacement, which they have not, what's the point? Replacing junk with junk.Beware that Frigidaire and Electrolux used to be fabulous companies with great products. It is NOT the case any more. DO NOT BUY

We live in Atlanta and need a basement dehumidifier half the year. We received this one just in time to NOT use it. It worked fine for a couple days after we got it, but it is off now til spring. We have used GE units but they only last one year. This Frigidaire has good reviews and I have high hopes that it will last several years.

This dehumidifier works fine, but instead of consistently draining the water into a drain, it fills completely then dumps all at once. I would™™ve preferred that the water pumps directly to the drain, rather than collecting first. The collection tank is just another place for mildew to collect.

This is a well constructed dehumidifier but.... it's the second one i've purchased, the first one died after 1year and 10 months. It was out of warranty so there was no help from Frigidaire. If you purchase from Amazon, buy the extra warranty.

I live in FL so I need to run a dehumidifier pretty much all day in my main living space. I needed one with a pump so I don't have to remember to empty the bucket when it is full. I have been very pleased with this product! I love all the features that my 2 other dehumidifiers (other brands) did not have. The wheels on this are great and make it easy to maneuver. The handle on top is also a nice add to help in moving it around. I LOVE the red floater that helps show where the water line is in the fill bucket- this is genius! I always had a hard time seeing the water line on my other ones. The fill bucket top is mostly closed which helps reduce spills when carrying it to empty it out. Just a lot of little details that really make this a standout product. Even the pump drain line has a marking to know if you have put it in far enough! So far it is working well. Similar noise level as other brands except the pump is actually not even noticeable when it is working. The real test will be the test of time as dehumidifiers notoriously conk out pretty fast. Fingers crossed that I can get several years out of it.

This 50 pint dehumidifier dried out my very damp basement in two days and was able to keep the relative humidity at a comfortable 45%. I am draining the water runoff into my sump pump. However, this unit is equipped with its own pump if you need to Discharge the water up and out of the basement. I was amazed how quiet the unit is on the low fan setting. As expected when the relative humidity reached the setpoint the unit turns itself off so it is totally quiet until dehumidification is needed again.

Very good appliance. I bought a more-expensive, off-brand Chinese dehumidifier from Lowes that leaked right out of the box! Promptly returned it and sought an American brand. This dehumidifier works great! It's relatively quiet and reduced humidity rapidly. I like the options of continuous drain or pumped drain too. Highly recommended!

I had bought a Midea unit a year ago that broke and was just out of warranty and the company refused to repair or replace. The pump feature is very convenient so I don™™t have to empty the bucket by hand. My only complaint is the humidistat is not very accurate but I bought a separate one for $12.
