Earl B. Feiden Appliance was founded in 1926 in Latham, NY. Our company evolved from the ice and coal delivery business of the early 1900's. Ice was harvested from the pond on the family farm and delivered to homes by horse and wagon for what was then an "ice box". The farm and original home is located on Watervliet Shaker Rd and still stands today. As new mechanical refrigerators were introduced, Earl B. Feiden responded to the growing interest from his customers and abandoned the ice business. He transformed the family garage into a showroom for new electric appliances and radios. With demand for appliances growing, the business soon outgrew the family garage and in 1947, Earl B. Feiden Appliance opened its new location at the Latham Circle, which the store still operates from today.

In 1986, Earl B. Feiden Appliance expanded to the south and opened a store on Broadway in Kingston, NY to serve customers throughout the Hudson Valley Region. Most recently, in 2011, Earl B. Feiden Appliance has expanded into Saratoga County, opening a store on Route 9 in Clifton Park.

Earl B. Feiden Appliance continues to grow and offer the latest in innovative technology for home appliances. Our selection of appliances boasts over 50 brands, with everything from the manufacturers we have known for generations, to state of the art professional products to satisfy even the most discriminating tastes of our customers. With over 70 employees, our sales associates, service technicians, delivery and installation teams are factory trained and accredited. The Feiden family continues to own the business and oversee its daily operation.

Now in our 4th generation, and our 97th year of business, we are proud to be one of the oldest appliance stores, not only in the state but in the country! Quality products, low prices and knowledgeable, attentive customer service remains the cornerstone of our business today.
